Animal Impound

The Elizabeth Police Department provides Animal Control services for the Town of Elizabeth. If you have lost a pet please contact the On-Duty Officer to inquire about your missing animal. If the Elizabeth Police Department has impounded your animal you will need to meet with an Officer to complete paperwork before our contracted kennel will release your pet.

Please note that the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office provides Animal Control Services for unincorporated areas of the County. If the Elizabeth Police Department is unable to assist you with a missing pet you should inquire with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, as animals rarely observe political boundaries and can wander.
